Crescenta Valley Station, CA >>
The Crescenta Valley Station is located at 4554 N. Briggs Ave. La Crescenta, California 91214 and was first established in 1974. The station is located in the unincorporated community of La Crescenta, specifically in the foothills north of Glendale. It is known as the gateway to the Angeles National Forest.
This station is responsible for providing the residents of the city of La Crescenta with outstanding law enforcement services. The men and women of the station locate in the city of La Crescenta are from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which means that it is smaller than most police departments, which is why they rely so much on feedback from its residents. When the residents become involved in their police station, then the police could make changes to help provide better services to the community. The officers of the station make it their mission to involve themselves in the community as much as possible by participating in as many community events as possible.
They also help their neighbors make their homes safer by taking certain precautions and suggesting some safety tips for the family. Every officer in the La Crescenta Valley Station are highly trained and experienced officers of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which means that they have completed the courses at the Police Academy and have experience as a patrol officer in the greater Los Angeles County. Because this station is smaller than the other police departments in major cities, it offers less services than other departments. So it is important that the officers work with community leaders to make the city a safer place to live. This will also help make it harder for criminals to target this city. They do offer a special units service and volunteer section for any residents to participate in. By joining the volunteer section of the department, the residents could witness firsthand what the station is doing to help make the city a better place to live in.
