High-Speed Chase in La Crescenta

Earlier this week on Tuesday, two teenagers were arrested after leading police on a short pursuit in the city of La Crescenta. At around noon, an officer on patrol attempted to stop the teenager’s car near the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Lauderdale Avenue because the driver was driving without his lights on according to a Glendale Police spokeswoman. The driver of the car failed to stop and attempted to flee police reaching speeds of up to 100 mph. After a short pursuit the driver lost control of the vehicle and struch two parked cars along Mary Street and Raymond Avenue in La Crescenta. After the cops arrested the driver, they discovered that it was a 14-year-old homeless girl and a boy of the same age was in the passenger seat. The vehicle was filled with marijuana and pipes and the car turned out to be stolen but was not yet reported. According to authorities, the vehicle belonged to the boy’s neighbors and they have yet to release a motive for stealing the car. Blog by Bail Bonds La Crescenta Experts.
