2 Stabbed Within Minutes of Each Other
Late last night on the streets of La Crescenta, two people were stabbed, one fatally, on the same street and within minutes. Police have still not determined if the stabbings are related or if they are just the victims of a couple of random stabbings. The first stabbing was reported at about 10:30 p.m. and the other one was reported about five minutes later near the same location. One man was stabbed multiple times in his torso and was rushed to a hospital in crucial condition, according to police. That victim was stabilized, but he would not cooperate with police when they asked what happened that night. The other victim was also stabbed multiple times, but he did not survive his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime. No arrests have been made in connection with these stabbings and police do not have a description of the suspect. The fact that one of the victim’s will not cooperate with police suggests that this may be due to a gang altercation.
